Rubz and I meet up at Oriental Bay beach, we enjoyed running around on the sand and playing in the play ground.  We took a moment to  rest and chat here, a nice spot looking out to the harbour..

First swimming lessons 13/05/2011

Today was my first swimming lessons with 'Easy Swim', I'm pretty excited but also a little nervous, I'm not quite sure what to expect. 

My teacher is a man named Byron... he's pretty cool, I've got one other class mate, Daniel.  Below is Daniel and I kicking with all our mite.

1st Day at Big Boy Kindy 05/05/2011

Today was my first day at 'Big Boy Kindy'... I've moved from 2 mornings 8:30-12:40 to 3 days 8:30 to 2:30...

So, we were driving to my new 'Big Boy Kindy' and we drove past my 'Little Boy Kindy', I said to Mummy "Hey, there's my Little Boy Kindy!", Mummy said "Yes thats right remember your big boy Kindy is the same place and teachers, just different times".

Mumma said "I'm just trying to find a park" as she drove by, I yelled out "Bye bye little boy Kindy".  I was still thinking 'Big Boy Kindy' was somewhere different...  We got out of the car and walked the short distance back to the Kindy entrance. " Hey" I said "this is my old Kindy", I was so confused!!!! Mummy said "common buddy lets go down into big boy Kindy"... I moved into an excited skip, my eyes wide eyed, a big grin on my face.... I was soooo excited!!!

In we go, I'm looking around, thinking whats going on here! its all the same... I've been duped!

I then start looking at the other children's faces, I recognise these kids! they used to go to my old Kindy... I run up to a few of my old buddys... "Hey you know me don't you?"  "yes I do" they say... I say "I'm Ollie" and off I go, into the big wide world of 'Big Boy Kindy'...

Luka's 4th Bday Party 01/05/2011

Today it was Luka's 4th Bday party... there were over 30th kids and soooo much yummy party food, I had the best time...

This is me trying to hit open the pinata... I didn't get it open, one of the bigger boys did... 

When it did crack open it was just like a lolly scramble and all the kids ran in and got hand fulls of lollies, there was plenty for everyone!

Family day at the pasific area, Te Papa 27/04/2011

Jen, Leo and Max joined us at the Pasifica family day at Te Papa, we got taught how to do traditional dance, and there was a man playing the wooden drums... It was loud and exciting...

 This is a 'Tuiga' (pronounced, To-ing-a)... I made it myself...

Nana and Poppa C visit Sheridan Tce 24/04/2011

Yaaaa Nana and Poppa C came to see me this weekend... they brought the big bag of Dadda's ole matchbox toys for me to play with!

Ice cream Oriental Bay 22/04/2011

After we'd been to the swimming pool we went around Oriental Bay for an ice cream... Mummy says I'm a mucky puppy... thank goodness for wet ones....

 We adventured around the foreshore, this is me and Soph trying to pick the baby mussels off...

Kilbernie swimming pool 22/04/2011

Our Mummy's and Nanny Christine took us the the Kilbernie pool over the school hols... We had such a great time... we were so tired after a couple of hours of playing in the water...

Wiggles concert 20/04/2011

Soph, Auntie Angela, Mummy and I went to the Wiggles concert, it was really cool... I got to see Wags, Dorothy , all the guys and Captain Feathersword!!!

 Me and Soph went into the 'mosh pit'... can you see me looking up at the performance...?

Later that night we headed over to Nanny Christine's for dinner, it was yummy (!) and we ate it all up...

Oh my black eye was the result of smashing my head against the bars of my bed when chasing a balloon... it really hurt... I screamed and cried...

Twirly Whirly at Park with mates 13/04/2011

Rubz, Leo and I like to ride on the twirly whirly when we go to the park... It is a piece of equipment that requires parental supervision... Why? This is the conversation that usually ensuse while we are playing on it...

" No I want to go faster! " Loud scream...

"My turn" Louder screaming... 

" No I want to go slower! " More screaming...

"No faster!" Really really loud screaming (the boys often out scream the girls)...

"Noooo faster" Arrrrgh... 

"I want to get off!" Arguing...
